The 2008 Fall Faith Build home was started in October and finished in late January, 2009 in Lynmore Estates involving 14 area Bibb County churches.   Macon Area Habitat for Humanity is both grateful and humbled for the support of these churches and all churches who have come together to build decent and affordable homes for deserving families over the years.  Each year partner churches join forces to fund and build a home by involving church members.

Led by MAHFH's Church Relations Committee Chair and Board member Dan Riley, church representatives met several times during the year to plan the construction schedule.   Churches who participated in the fall build include: Martha Bowman, Vineville and Liberty United Methodist Churches, Northminster and St. Andrews Presbyterian Churches, Vineville Baptist Church, Christ, St. Francis and St. Paul's Episcopal Churches,  St. Joseph's Catholic Church,  Evangelical/Liberty Christian Churches, Bethel CME Church, Southside Community Church and Christ Life Church, Montezuma.

Additional local and national partners included:  Whirlpool, Yale Locks, Square D, Andrews, Hammock & Powell, Wilson Bryant Air Conditioning, Cutting Edge Landscaping, Larson, American Carpet & Cleaning, BCI Insulation, Valspar, Alan Frank Roofing, Community Health Foundation, Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, Macon-Bibb County, City of Macon Economic Development Dept., Macon-Bibb County Land Bank, SHOP HFHI/US & Southside Community Church.
