Whether you are able to contribute to the work of Habitat financially or you are able to give time and a little hard work, we appreciate your support. Your involvment with Macon Area Habitat for Humanity is you making a committment to your community. You are joining with us in ministry and we are very thankful for your help. Choose an area  that best suits your ability and interests.

Call our Volunteer Coordinator, Monty Cheshire, at our office in Macon, 478 784-6800 to ask about current activities. We benefit from volunteers in building, fund raising, committee work such as Family Selection and Support, lunch support, community advocacy and logistics.

We are always looking for volunteers who become repeat helpers and who are interested in becoming a Team Leader within a certain aspect of our building process. Examples are Team Leader Framing, Team Leader Painting (inside and out), Team Leader Trim and Finish.

Many of our volunteers find that working in the building process trains them to tackle a wide range of personal, home projects! Some find that their experience with us better prepares them for paying jobs in construction.
