1. Appliances ? Must be in good working condition.  Electric appliances only.  The following items are accepted:  Refrigerators, ovens, range hoods, range tops, microwave ovens.

2. Architectural items:

         Columns

         Mantels

         Antique windows

         Porch posts

3. Cabinets/Countertops ?Cabinets must have all doors and drawers, and outer

facings must be in good condition. Countertops must be in good condition with

minimal chips or damage.

4. Doors

         ?Pre-hung or door slabs. Cannot be taller than 84?, free of rot, all panes intact.

         Exterior/Interior entry

         Sliding glass. Must have all tracking; glass must be intact without cracks or

      fogging.

5. Electrical: Wire, plugs, plates, and hardware associated with electrical wiring.

6. Fans. Fans must be in working condition. The blades should be removed and taped to motor with mounting hardware.

7. Flooring materials

         Carpet. New or ?gently used? and clean with no visible stains or odors

         Carpet padding. New or ?gently used? and clean with no visible stains or odors.

         Sheet vinyl flooring in usable lengths. Rolled and taped

         Vinyl tile, undamaged

         Ceramic tile, undamaged

         Wood flooring. Must be free from rot and in usable quantities (25 sq. ft. or

      more)

8. Furniture: All household furniture except matresses and box springs                                          

9. Hardware: For doors, cabinets, etc., in useable, working condition, free from rust

10. Insulation: New only

11. Lighting: Fluorescent and incandescent. The lighting should be in good to excellent condition with complete fixtures in working order.

12. Lumber: Framing/Trim/Pressure Treated

         Plywood ? full, �,1/4 sheets of plywood

         Milled lumber- 4? lengths or greater of, free of rot and insects

         Trim ? 4? lengths of greater, free of rot and insects.

         Siding ? full lengths, free of rot and insects

13. Masonry

         Cinderblock-whole, intact and in good condition.

         Bricks-whole, intact and in good condition

14. Paint/wall coverings

         Latex 1 gal/5 gal only, new, full, and unopened. Color must be identified.

         Full, unopened rolls of wall coverings

15. Plumbing Fixtures and Hardware

         Sinks, all types, with no rust or cracks. Drop-in preferred. Stainless or porcelain.

Porcelain must be in good condition without chips or permanent stains.

         Bathtubs. New or used in clean, non-stained, or chipped condition. Clawfoot

bathtubs accepted. Fiberglass bathtubs/stalls with small cracks or    holes

accepted.

         Only 1.6 gal flush commodes accepted. White and almond colors preferred

accepted. All must be clean and in good working condition.

         Plumbing hardware

         Pipe-PVC/Metal/Copper

16. Roofing Materials/Gutters :

         Shingles.

         Rolls of roofing material, minimum � roll.

         New roofing and gutter materials in full pieces with no rust or damage

17. Sheet Rock (Wallboard, drywall): 4? lengths and up. Condition must be that at

least 4? of sheet rock is salvageable. 12? lengths and up are acceptable.

18. Tools: Hand or power tools in any working condition, will sell as is

19. Vents (floor, ceiling, return): clean and in good condition

20. Vinyl Siding, accessories: Full length pieces only

21. Windows/screens: Dual pane only. All windows must be inspected before

acceptance. The windows must be in good condition with glass intact. Wooden windows must be free from rot. All windows must be in complete units.

22. Interior and Exterior Shutters:  Vinyl or wooden are acceptable.  Must be in good condition and wooden shutters must be free from rot. 

NOT ACCEPTED

1. Blinds

2. Broken or unframed glass

3. Broken mirrors

4. Clothing

5. Drapes

6. Open or partially used cans of paint

7. Paint thinner or other hazardous or toxic chemicals

8. Pesticides (liquid or powder)

9. Refrigerators, ovens, stoves that do not fully work

10. Matresses and box springs.


Note:

1. The Habitat ReStore has the right to refuse any donation for any reason. Before any donation is put onto the showroom floor, merchandise must be cleaned as best as possible (1.e. all glass and mirrors washed, nails removed from wood, etc.) and visually inspected for damage. Note any damage on tag and attach to product.
