Light the Night 5K run/walk

We invite the entire community to a celebration of sight, sound, and fellowship at Chick-fil-A and Raffield Tire Master at Riverside Pkwy. and Tom Hill Sr. Blvd. in north Macon. The nighttime 5K begins with a spectacular lighting of more than 45,000 twinkling & sparkling Christmas lights and decorations synchronized to heartwarming music of the season. More than 500 participants will run a two-lap course and be cheered by family, friends, and well-wishers.

Runners and walkers who complete the 5K are eligible for medals, based on fastest completion times for their respective age categories, which are listed below.

Overall male & female winner; top male & female masters; top 3 males & females in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69; 70 and over. Medals will be issued immediately after race.
 
Additional pre-race and post-race activities will take place at Chick-fil-A and Raffield Tire Master, including photo opps with one of the famous Chick-fil-A cows, games, music, medal ceremonies, and more. Even if you aren't running or walking in the race, there will be plenty of opportunities to have a good time and support Macon Area Habitat for Humanity.

Race information


The Light the Night 5k run/walk route runs through the North Park shopping center parking area on Tom Hill Sr. Blvd., along Northside Dr., Elnora Dr., North Crest Blvd., Riverside Dr., and Riverside Pkwy. The circuit must be competed twice (and just a bit more!) to go the distance.

Race registration


You may register online, in person at Macon Area Habitat for Humanity's office, or by mail.

A. Online: Register via active.com. All major credit cards are accepted.
B. In person: Download and complete the registration form below; bring to MAHFH's office on 690 Holt Ave. during normal business hours. Preferred payment at the office is check or cash.

C. By mail: Download and complete the registration form below; mail (check only, please, no cash or credit cards) to:

D. In person on race night. If you aren't able to register prior to the race, you may register on-site before the race begins. Come early to ensure you receive a T-shirt.
