Volunteer Opportunities

New opportunity, build a mini-house! Yes, a storage shed (10 x 10) to go with a new home so as to house lawnmowers, tools, bicycles, toys, seasonal yard furniture and all the other stuff we all have!! Your group can do everything we do but in a small way. First, meet the family, do a fundraiser for $550, gather at our HabiShop to build and paint the shed in pre-fab wall units, and finally gather one Saturday to install and complete it on site. Then, enjoy the family "moving into" the shed with the typical storage items! You will have done everything we do for a "big" house!

At your first volunteer assignment, if you are over 18 you can sign the Liability Waiver and receive specific Safety instructions at the site. Before kids between 16 and 18 can work, they must have a parent sign the Minor Release Form. It can be printed at this site and signed before coming to work.

During construction the volunteers will work under the direction of the Building Coordinator, Don Hensley and his assistants, Kelly or Steve.
