Worksite PoliciesMacon Area Habitat for Humanity Work Site Policy All volunteers must sign in on the job site, releasing Macon Habitat from any liability. Guardians must sign a release form before minors will be allowed to work on a job site. ***THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY*** Be sure to follow these guidelines while at the job site: The volunteer work day is 8:30 AM to approx. 4:00 PM. Meet at the parking lot of Southside Community Church, 4160 Roy Avenue by 8:30 AM. You must have contacted us in advance to be scheduled. From there you will be lead to the work site there in the neighborhood. Wear closed toe shoes and appropriate work clothes for outside or painting. Be mindful of sun protection. A short rain shower can be waited out without closing down work for the day. The site will have a porta potti and cold, bottled water. Lunch will be provided on Saturdays or to groups working during the week unless the group wishes to provide lunch that day of all on the site. The weekday supervisor is Don Hensley; the Saturday supervisor is either Haashim Kelly or Steve Matheney.
