2014 Homebuilder Blitz

- Local homebuilders are partnering with Macon Area Habitat for Humanity to complete a home during the weeks of May 21 – June 9, giving hope to a new family seeking affordable housing in the Lynmore Estates Neighborhood. 571 Carman Place will be built in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity’s national Home Builders Blitz 2014.

Locally, lead residential Blitz Build partner coordinators Ryan Griffin/New Atlantic Realty Group-RDG Ventures, LLC, Wes Walker/Wes Walker Construction and Tony Butler/Tony Butler Construction gathered subcontractors and suppliers to obtain materials and professional labor for the build.

Local Blitz sponsors include New Atlantic Realty Group-RDG Ventures, LLC, Wes Walker Construction, Tony Butler Construction, ProBuild, Wilson Bryant Air Conditioning, Macon Noland Co., Traditions in Tile and Stone, Ken Gordon Electric, Lowe Electric, Mingledorff’s, Herndon’s Backflow & Plumbing, Righway Drywall, Joyner Waste Services, A.T. Long & Sons, Crosby Roofing Co., Loyal Framing Co., National Exterminating Co., T&J. Exteriors, American Carpet & Cleaning, Taylor Restrooms to Go Services, Gregs Georgia Gardens and Middle Georgia Insulation. Additionally Macon restaurant partners Subway, Gray Hwy. Walmart Deli, Wendy’s, Waffle House, The Bears Den, Macon Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Maggios Italian Grill, Chick-fil-A, Fincher’s Barbecue, Texas Roadhouse, Applebees and Mellow Mushroom will be blitz lunch sponsors providing meals during the blitz period to the volunteer contractors.
