Congratulations to the Finney Family whose home was chosen as the July winner of the Lynmore Estates Yard of the Month (YOM) Award. The YOM Program supports current revitalization efforts in the Lynmore Estates neighborhood.
The Lynmore Estates Yard of the Month committee chooses one yard in this south Macon neighborhood. A “Yard of the Month” sign is posted on the property for the month and the property owner is given a framed certificate and a $25 gift certificate from Minton’s Lawn and Garden Center. The presentation is photographed for inclusion on the Lynmore Estates and Macon Area Habitat for Humanity websites and for submission to the “Neighbors” section of the Telegraph for publication. Winners of the Yard of the Month automatically qualify for the Yard of the Year Award which carries a bigger prize package.
