Act, Speak, Build! 2015
April 13, 2015 marks the beginngin of Act! Speak! Build! week for Mercer University and Wesleyan College here in Macon. Partnering with MAHFH, the collegiate habitat chapters are raising awareness and advocacy for blight in the Macon area.
Both schools are hosting events throughout the week related to blight and blight advocacy in our Community:
Monday, April 13th: Panel on Blight awareness; 6pm, Chandler Building, Wesleyan College
Tuesday, April 14th: Petition Signing; 11am-1pm, Dining Hall, Wesleyan College
Wednesday, April 15th: Interfaith Panel; 7pm, Connell Confrence Room II, Mercer University
If you cannot attend any events, please follow the link below to sign the schools' collaborative Blight out of Sight peition, which they plan to present to the Mayor on Monday.
